#3pm

If you follow me on twitter (@SeductiveMania) You'd know that most days at #3pm I post a picture of my feet! I throw it through Lomogram (there's no Instagram on Windows Phones!) and then up on twitter!

Where are your feet at #3pm?

Seductive Life: The Botanic Gardens

As a major tourist in Australia, I'm always looking for new and interesting things do and see around Coffs Harbour. Last week I took a trip to the Botanic Gardens! Beautiful!

Tree hugger!

Such a gorgeous day for a walk through the gardens. It was so lush!

Obviously take the creek walk!

There were a million of these all along the path, with the Aboriginal words for each animal. So cool!

I love me some beautiful flowers! :)

Boytoy loves his roses too, he has such a green thumb... unlike me. I kill everything I try and grow!

So many gorgeous flowers!

Such a gorgeous day, look at that blue sky reflected in the water!

There was also an entire room full of cacti! So cool!!

Seductive Life Recap Part 1: CUBA!

Wow, life has been pretty hectic in the past couple of weeks. And by hectic I mean in the best possible way!! I quit my job in the mountains, flew back home, vacationed in Cuba with my bestest friend and then hopped on another couple of planes and flew all the way over to my new home in AUSTRALIA!

I'm super beyond excited about living in Australia, but first be jealous of my awesome vacation in beautiful Cuba!

Due to the best mix up ever with the booking agency, we were upgraded to the beautiful Paradisus Princessa Del Mar in Veradero. Five stars, amazing pools and all inclusive. Although, for two single girls under 40, maybe not the ideal vacation spot but it suited our relaxed vacation needs just fine!

We spent almost every day either at the beach or by the pool except when it rained :( Even then we sat underneath the umbrellas and enjoyed the warmer weather! I may have sun burnt a little tiny bit but I used up 2 bottles of sunscreen... pale girl problems!

We had some really amazing street food in downtown Veradero. This giant plate of chicken, salad, two different kinds of rice and potatoes only cost 3 Pesos, or about $3.25 Canadian Dollars!! We followed the locals to see where they were eating and there was a line of about 30 people in front of this little street stand! Mmmmmmm can't stop thinking about it. So. Good.

We drank...

A lot. (World's biggest wine glass?! It was actually the size of my head!)

I had an amazing vacation with my amazing best friend!! I would tell you go go go and get your butt to Cuba!

(click pictures for larger images)

And that last one is my big news!! Guess where I'm moving to?! Did you say AUSTRALIA by any chance? Ding ding ding you're a winner!!

My next couple of weeks are going to be absolutely insane. I'm leaving Baker Creek (so sad, I've made myself a second family here) and going home for a while. Then off to Cuba for my very bestest friends 21st birthday! Then AUSTRALIA!!!

A 25 hour plane ride with stops in LA and Sydney and Brisbane... Then a 4 hour car ride to Coff's Harbour!!! Blue sky and beautiful beaches and 30 degree weather here I come!!

Donations are being accepted into my sunscreen fund! ;)

Ch-ch-check out my instagram!

Feels Like Forever...

Little blog, I missed you so! This past week I:

  • Designed, commissioned, and distributed Niagara College Culinary Management 2012 Grad sweaters! They were a huge hit, and I get compliments on mine everywhere I go.

  • Finished the last of my exams and officially completed my final year of Culinary Management. I'm beyond super excited about the next set of challenges and adventures that will be thrown my way, but there were also a lot of goodbyes, it was really hard knowing that these people who have basically become my family will never be so (physically) close again. ):
  • Attended a conference this weekend for my biggest adventure next year - I am going to be the Director of Media for the Student Administrative Council on my campus! It is an amazing opportunity, and after spending the weekend with so many other brilliant minds... I can't wait for school to start again!
  • Am starting my first after-grad fulltime kitchen job on Thursday at Terroir La Cachette in Niagara-On-The-Lake!
  • Didn't get nearly enough sleep but am still in go-mode! I promise this week will calm down a lot more and I will have time for you!
